I love the look of the F430 wheels on my F360, but, the silver wheels on the silver car... I want something to break it up a bit contrast wise.
^ This is how it sits now. My two options are black or gold. I made some quick photoshops but they are far from perfect.
The gold I am looking at is a little darker, heres an example:
So thoughts or oppo-inions?

Gold is a damn nice look on that car.

crazy option: Navy Blue.

Ooooh, I like that (personally). It’d stick out like a sore thumb for majority of folks though.

Goooold!

Gold looks nice on that car. But I’m sure there’s something against the Laws of Nature for plastidipping Ferrari wheels.
Like it might just not go on. A force field would form around the rim. (A force field that would only work 3 out of 4 times since it’s Italian.)

Golds are interesting but I personally voted to keep the stock silver.
However, if you like gold, you should also consider bronze or copper:
As for crazy colors, these blues and reds might be fascinating:

Powder coat bronze.
Or just be like the cool kids and plastidip them different colors until youre satisfied for a budget finish.

Of course this website wants gold wheels, haha.
I’d say leave it silver, or put it in black to keep it classy. I don’t understand the gold wheel fetish.

Bronze.

I love the black wheels. My car is white and I really like the contrast between the light coloured body and the black wheels.

I don’t normally like gold, but it looks great here.

Yellow to match the crests on the fenders? Red to match the calipers?
Or...wait for it...
Gold plated! Super shiny 24k perfection, with or without diamond encrusted valve stem caps, but definitely with some tasteful pin striping around the wheel edge.
C’mon playa, you know I’m right

The only bad part, BLACK wheels become virtually INVISIBLE and the design gets lost.
If darker wheel is desired, why not either ANTHRACITE or, better yet, the color of the brake pad dust as the GT3 wheel above is painted, to be even more practical.
Go up and look the first alternative. The car may as well have BLACK steel wheels...

Gold or Copper. Black on silver looks kinda cheap.
For extra points get some Messer wheels. only 2k per wheel. Looks bad thouh

Black would be the easy answer. But red would work too. Gold: nah. Yellow: maybe.

I like the silver: the yellow badges on them seem just the right amount f accent that complements the badge on the body. I prefer the stock wheels, myself, as the thin 5-spokes are some of the best-looking 5-spoke wheels yet made.

Bronze is a good idea

I just don’t like black wheels because they hide the beauty of the wheel. In addition to that so many cars have a blacked out package, RAMs, Jeeps, and Explorers. It just makes your car look cheap. I suggest a graphite finish like the Porsche platinum satin. Even the 430 Scuderia has a nice wheel finish. I found a silver one for you to compare.

Not a bad option

Gold, bronze, copper are all good options. Black looks tired and cheap on a silver car.
Alternate idea: 4 colours. Plastidip one each with yellow, pink, bright blue, and light green. Serious! My daughter’s skateboard has this setup and it looks great.

Here's another vote for dark gunmetal (not black).

Likeweis, I do not understand BLACK wheels. May I respectfully ask what makes BLACK wheels CLASSY, when you can not even see them, let alone their design.
“Paint wheels BLACK, so they TOTALLY DISAPPEAR, if so embaresed by their design.”

I don’t like how they look on that Porsche in particular, but I’ve thought about getting them to prevent brake dust from showing up as much.

Their looks - It depends on the viewing angle, IMHO. Also, being center locks, there may be but a few options out in the market place. LOVE this idea - STEALTH; no wing, not even a duck tail.

Should start a campaign, “Just say NO to BLACK wheels!” I rest my case.
